My dining companion and I had the bannock to start, which was dense and delicious. The maple butter was an excellent touch. We had the bison meatloaf and the bison burger, both of which were well seasoned and tasty. Also, we thought they were a large portion for a reasonable price. Our waitress was really friendly and even ran out to the parking lot to bring us our left over bannock that we forgot. We will be back 😊.

Nice amount of variety on the menu, staff is friendly and efficient, venue is nicely decorated. The food was very good but didn't get 5 stars from me because it just seemed to lack a little something. Not sure what, as the meatloaf I has was very good. Other people in my party had the lasagna and it was a bit dry. The poutine starter was really good, as well as the bannock. Total for 6 people (3 appetizers shared, 6 mains, 2 desserts, 1 drink) was about $270 including tip - slightly pricey in my frugal mind, but not too bad.

Nice place tucked away in a quiet area. Hotel linked restaurant but pretty decent. Smaller menu with lots of wild game (bison especially) on the menu. Decent food and reasonably priced with large portions. Extremely good service and very attentive. Nice wine list with lots of choices and again very reasonably priced. Recommend if in the area or want something a bit different.

Children are welcome although there are few younger ones.

Yes last time we were there we had three boys with us 6, 9, 12. All three of them loved the food.
